Week thirty-one

I had this picture in mind since I decided last week to cut my hair. My first idea was to make a self-portrait of only my face, but this idea evolved in something much more crazy. First I decided to also shave my bear, then to wear the hairdresser white coat to simulate a straitjacket and, finally, to use the 10.5mm Fisheye and let it do it’s job ;-)

On the technical side, I’ve used two flashes: One on my back and pointing to the wall from the bottom, and the other on the upper right side and inside a softbox. On the post-edition, it’s the first time I try to emulate the “Dragan” effect (you can find many approaches in youtube) but I have not taken it to it’s limits because it seemed too surreal in this particular picture. Once the image has been ready I’ve preferred the black&white version over the color one.

Many thanks to Alba and my father for their help in the hair cut and during the picture.
